Oh, sorry, I copied and pasted my McNabb Libs without filling in the blanks. Let's try again.

Donovan McNabb is frustrated with the Philadelphia Eagles for recent rumors suggesting Chip Kelly is the key candidate to replace Andy Reid, suggesting that going with a defensive-minded coach would be a more effective way of getting his ex-team back to the football promised land.

    Surprise, surprise.

If Jeffrey Lurie could somehow reincarnate Tom Landry and hire him as Eagles head coach, Donovan McNabb would complain that he's not Vince Lombardi.

While the Philadelphia area is working itself into a frenzy at the prospects of landing the mastermind of the explosive Oregon offense, McNabb is skeptical.

"I would say the next move now is to move to a defensive-minded coach," McNabb said on Comcast SportsNet on Thursday. "Have someone come in here and be able to get these guys disciplined, understanding what they have to do, being gap-sound, being in the right position at all times, and then bring an offensive guru in -- someone who can run an offense and run it effectively."

Once you get someone to teach those guys to be gap-sound, the Super Bowl trophies come in droves.

McNabb suggested Lovie Smith and Ray Horton would be better fits for the Eagles.
