Fernando Llorente to Arsenal, Manchester City or Spurs

Spanish striker Fernando Llorente is out of contract this summer and has a whole host of clubs after the striker’s signature. Llorente has refused to sign a new deal with Athetic Bilbao and has been used as a substitute this season due to the falling out with his manager.

The press are convinced that the striker will sign for Italian giants Juventus but with Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal all watching closely he may decide to play in the world’s greatest division. He will be 28 in the summer and it will probably be the forwards last chance to play for a side challenging for silverware like Manchester City.

Manchester City must be the favourites out of the English clubs to sign the forward due to the constant turbulence surrounding Mario Balotelli. Roberto Mancini must be hoping that he can offload the Italian sooner rather than later.

Llorente has shown real consistency over the last few years netting over twelve goals in his last five seasons with Athletic Bilbao, including 29 last season and 23 back in the 2009/10 season.

Due to the strength of the national team he has only made 21 appearances for Spain but the 6ft 5ins striker does possess real ability and could become an instant success in the Premier league.
