Six Nations: Scotland make two changes for Italy clash

Scott Johnston has made two changes to the Scotland line-up for Saturday's Six Nations meeting with Italy.

Hooker Ross Ford replaces Dougie Hall and Rob Harley takes over from Alasdair Strokosch at blindside flanker.

Ford came on in place of Hall when the latter picked up a knee injury during the 38-18 defeat by England.

Strokosch will see a surgeon to assess the facial injury suffered at Twickenham and whether he can play any further part in the tournament.

Team doctor James Robson revealed the 29-year-old has a fractured orbit, the area around the eye.

"As ever with such collision-type injuries, they can take time to settle," said Robson.

"He will be examined by Mr Martin Paley, a maxillary facial specialist at Spire Murrayfield Hospital on Tuesday, to determine the extent of the injury and any recovery schedule."
