Stephen Donald: Leaving Bath at the end of the season
Bath fly-half Stephen Donald is leaving The Rec at the end of the season to join Japanese side Mitsubishi Dynaboars.
The New Zealand international joined Bath in the wake of the All Blacks World Cup victory in 2011, where Donald kicked the winning penalty in their 8-7 victory over France in the final.
Donald has scored over 150 points in 31 appearances for the West Country side but has confirmed he will move on at the end of the current campaign.
"I've had a great time with Bath, but feel it is time for a new challenge in a new league," he told the club's official website.
"I'd like to thank everyone at the club and all the Bath supporters for all the support during my time here, and I'm really looking forward to doing all I can to help us end this season on a high."
Bath head coach Gary Gold praised the contribution made by Donald during his time at the club.
"Steve is a good footballer and is a great character to have around," said Gold.
"He has brought a lot of experience to the squad in the last couple of years, and we wish him all the best of luck in Japan next season."
