Bath 20-36 Stade Francais

Stade Francais knocked Bath out of the Amlin Challenge Cup in a high-scoring encounter at the Rec.

Two converted tries from winger Waisea Vuidarvuwalu and two penalties set up a 20-3 half-time lead for the visitors.

Bath spent 20 minutes playing against 14 men and came back into the game with a penalty try, but a brace from Hugo Bonneval stretched Stade's lead.

Bath pulled tries back through Michael Claassens and Jack Cuthbert but it proved too little, too late.
