If the version of the Ravens linebacker played by Kenan Thompson on Saturday Night Live is accurate, he will go to the 50-yard line at the Superdome, kneel down and ascend into heaven. Thompson appeared as a face-painted Lewis during Weekend Update with Seth Meyers. He discussed his crying jags and other revelations during the three-minute segment. They included some of the following facts: • Never heard the national anthem prior to last week's game (hence the crying). • Wears earplugs to muffle the sound of his own speeches. • Can't get that paint off his face. Thompson doesn't sound much like Lewis -- it's EAAASY to EEE-NUN-cee-ate the wwwwords that he UUUSEs -- but has that head shake down pat. The only problem with the sketch: Everybody knows Ray Lewis does the squirrel dance before a big performance, not after. Tags
