Manu Tuilagi: England & Leicester Tigers man faces two months out

England and Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi could be out for two months with a torn pectoral muscle, reports BBC Radio Leicester.

Tuilagi sustained the chest injury in the win against Newcastle on Saturday.

Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill said the British and Irish Lions back may require surgery.

Earlier this month, 22-year-old Tuilagi apologised for playing a prank on Prime Minister David Cameron when the Lions squad visited Downing Street.

He made a 'bunny' gesture with two fingers behind Cameron's head while posing for a photo but the Prime Minister said there was no need to apologise.

Tuilagi signed a new long-term contract with Premiership champions Leicester in May.
