James Horwill could return to face the Boks on September 28
Australia captain James Horwill is set to return for the Rugby Championship trips to South Africa and Argentina.
All the reaction from Australia's tight victory over Argentina in Perth.
Horwill missed the home games against the Springboks and the Pumas after damaging his hamstring.
However Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie expects the lock to be passed fit to face South Africa in Cape Town on September 28.
"There's no evidence to say (he) wouldn't be fit by the weekend," McKenzie said.
"I think James would know he has to be right to train 100 per cent on Saturday. That's what we'll look at and we'll work it out.
"I think he is tracking well."
Although Horwill has been Australia's skipper since 2011, there are no guarantees that he will lead the side in Cape Town - with Ben Mowen having led the side in their 14-13 win over Argentina last time out.
"I haven't thought about it," said McKenzie.
"I'll work out where he is up to on the injury. I have to see if he is fit enough to join the group first." Source : http://www1.skysports.com/rugby-union/news/15175/8924603/rugby-championship-james-horwill-poised-to-return-to-australia-squad
