3:08PM EST December 13. 2012 - Bode Miller is going to need a much longer shopping list for his wife this holiday season. The alpine skiing Olympic gold medalist accidentally nailed his wife, 25-year-old pro volleyball player and model Morgan (Beck) Miller, with a line drive during a golf outing Wednesday, which as she detailed on Twitter, ended with a very ugly result.

Beck posted this on her Instagram account with the caption, "I'm not feeling so hot. Line drive to the face today with a golf ball from my darling husband. I still love him but #ouch" (Photo: @MorganEBeck)

For as bad as the above photo looks, she seemed to be doing better today.

"Feeling better today. Still can't see out off left eye but I am getting some feeling back in my face"

"A huge thank you to @Kaenon By absorbing a 160mph line drive I only got 50+ stitches instead of losing my eye #lucky"

"Also a huge thank u 2 everyone wishing me a speedy recovery. I have my husband by my side listening 2 all ur suggestions so keep them comin"

She even took a minute to trash talk a Twitter troll.

"I would agree with you except for the fact I would golf circles around u " @ texasboyapbt: GOLF Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden. Now you know"

Bode Miller, who won't return to the slopes until early January as he recovers from left knee surgery, joked on Twitter just Tuesday about how he had adjusted his game to the injury.

"I played my first round of golf lefthanded yesterday. It was pretty amazing. Los of terrible shots for my wife to laugh at."

They probably weren't as hilarious the next day.
