Rickie YUTAKA Fowler (Photo: Getty) In the course of a day's worth of blogging, you stumble upon some interesting facts that have no relevance to 99 percent of the world. Then, while writing 200-word posts about those facts, you sometimes stumble upon even more interesting tidbits that have no relevance to anyone, anywhere. Such was the case this morning when we discovered that the middle name of golfer Rickie Fowler is Yutaka. (The name is Japanese and honors his maternal grandmother.) It got us thinking about other interesting athlete middle names and we did a quick search to see if there was a comprehensive list. Somehow, Bleacher Report hadn't tapped this page-view goldmine and here we are. 1. Eldrick "Tiger" Tont Woods -- Like his fellow golfer, Tiger's middle name is a nod to Asian roots on his maternal side. Tiger Woods (Photo: USA TODAY Sports) 2. Bris Robotham Lord -- Give yourself a second (and some space) to figure out why we love the middle name of this early-1900s baseball player. 3. Kobe Bean Bryant -- Comes from his father's nickname, Jelly Bean. Kobe Bryant (Photo: USA TODAY Sports) 4. Terrell Eldorado Owens -- The name of El Dorado, the mythical city of gold, comes from a legend about a tribal chief who covered himself in gold and dove into a river. And to think, he had 25 million reasons to live. 5. Roland Champ Bailey -- Maybe this is one of those things that I knew at some point in my life, but I had forgotten Champ Bailey's name was a real name and not a nickname. Christian "Sonny" Adolph Jurgensen -- The Washington Redskins Hall of Famer probably doesn't advertise his middle name too much. (He was born in 1934, so don't worry.) Sonny Jurgensen (Photo: AP) 8. Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma McLish -- The 1950s baseball player had nods to a president, an assassinated Roman leader and a Choctaw word meaning "red warrior." 9. Gylfi Thor Sigurdsson -- If there's one thing I know about Gylfi Sigurdsson it's that his middle name should definitely be Thor. Gylfi Sigurdsson (Photo: AFP) 10. Timothy LeRoy Lincecum -- There's nothing inherently funny about the name LeRoy. There is something inherently funny about Tim Lincecum having the name LeRoy.
