Chris Eaton: Has returned home to New Zealand
Western Force half-back Chris Eaton has returned to his native New Zealand after his wife died in a car accident.
Eaton had been due to make his debut for the Force in Sunday's Super Rugby game with the Waratahs, however he flew back home after his wife Hannah was killed when the BMW she was driving collided with an SUV.
Eaton had moved to Perth on a short-term deal, having previously played for the Hurricanes.
Eaton, who has a young daughter Layla, posted a message via his Twitter saying: "Thanks for the support. I love my wife so much it hurts. my angel layla is my world and is the last thing holding me together. love 2 all."
A statement from the Force read: "Players and staff at RugbyWA and the Emirates Western Force extend our deepest sympathies to Chris, his family and friends and will continue to provide any necessary support to help them through this period.
"In respect of Chris, his family and friends, the club will not make any further comment on the matter at this time." Source : http://www1.skysports.com/rugby-union/news/12570/8611001/Western-Force-half-back-Chris-Eaton-mourns-the-sad-death-of-his-wife
