The fun isn't over yet.
Sure, it's hard to match the excitement level of the NCAA tournament's opening weekend, especially now that more than 75 percent of the NCAA tournament field (and likely just as many potential winning brackets in your pool) have been eliminated. Even if you're a Carolina fan or picked Gonzaga to go all the way, there are still plenty of great reasons to watch.
EXPERT'S TAKE: Previewing the Sweet 16 games
TOURNEY FLASHBACK: What happened in the first three rounds?
In the spirit of great philosopher Jeff Spicoli, we've re-seeded the Sweet 16 based on which teams have proven to be the most awesome. While other pundits are re-ranking the remaining schools based on who they think has the best chance to come away from Atlanta with the national championship, our list is a more arbitrary look at which ones most make us want to stay glued to the action.
VIDEOThe Sweet 16 "Awesomeness" Rankings (from least to most)
16. Syracuse The East's four seed demolished Montana and handily defeated Cal, but Jim Boeheim hasn't really altered his salty countenance, even after refuting his comment from weeks earlier that he was "ready to go play golf somewhere." The Orange's inability to make a shot from the field in 12 consecutive minutes against the Bears doesn't really help the allure.
15. Kansas Travis Releford and Ben McLemore are a nice backcourt, but it's not a good thing when the most dynamic personality on the team is the fake Twitter account of your senior center. It's cool our opponents' jerseys are made by Russell. Makes me feel like I'm in high school again. WHO AM I GONNA TAKE TO PROM?!?!-; Fake Jeff Withey (@FakeJeffWithey) March 23, 2013
14. Florida When your school's most famous former athlete is openly giving pep talks to other teams in the tournament, that probably doesn't bode well for it being your year.

13. Arizona If the rest of the Wildcats' team and fan base had this band member's spirit, we'd have no choice but to rank them higher. 12. Marquette Chris Farley graduated from the Milwaukee school in 1986. As gritty of a team as Buzz Williams' Golden Eagles are, let's see them show this kind of motor.
VIDEO11. Ohio State Buckeyes point guard Aaron Craft is huge on Facebook. Seriously. According to the site, he was mentioned five times more than any player during their respective games all last weekend.
10. Duke Every great story needs a villain. The Blue Devils team may not be the most exciting - they never are - but it's always good to have them around deep in the tournament, if only to give 95% of the viewing audience joy when they finally exit (unless they don't.).
9. Michigan State Towel fight! Via SB Nation.
8. Indiana Freshman guard Yogi Ferrell has drawn comparisons to former Hoosiers legend Isiah Thomas, even wearing the same number 11. Unlike Thomas, he likely hasn't been taught such inventive ways to curse by his head coach. (Understandably, the language in that linked clip is DEFINITELY offensive.)
TOURNEY ONE-HIT WONDERS: Where are they now?
7. Miami Hurricanes coach Jim Larranaga is still a bundle of energy at age 63, as evidenced by this Muhammad Ali impression after the team advanced to the Sweet 16.
VIDEO6. Louisville The top-seeded Cardinals have cruised through their first two matchups with hot shooting and stifling defense. The scary thing? Rick Pitino hasn't even busted out the white suit yet. (Photo: Jamie Rhodes, USA TODAY Sports)
5. La Salle The Explorers emerged from the play-in game to ride their four-guard rotation into the Sweet 16. The Explorers' good luck charm? Brother Ed Sheehy, the team's moderator over the past two decades, who earlier this season likely became the first Christian Brother to be honored with his own bobblehead.
VIDEO4. Oregon Ducks forward Arsalan Kazemi is a hoops trailblazer, becoming the first Iranian to get a Division I basketball scholarship. The son of a candy factory owner in Estafan, Iran, Kazemi has endured racial taunts from opposing audiences (and allegedly at his former school, Rice University) but is becoming a basketball ambassador for players from the Middle East.
3. Wichita State

2. Michigan The Wolverines' high-flying act in the second half of the third round matchup with VCU channeled memories of the Fab Five. Glenn Robinson III and Tim Hardaway Jr. both have former NBA stars as fathers, but the two sons both have the chance to accomplish something neither of their dads did. Making a Final Four.
1. Florida Gulf CoastThe rise of "Dunk City" has been aptly chronicled on our site and everywhere else this week. Here are a few reminders of why they've become the most fun Cinderella team in tournament history. The amazing success story that is head coach Andy Enfield.

The next week and a half is going to be really fun.
